In February, a total of 14,050 deals worth UAH 8.37 billion (-47% to January 2024) were concluded at the Perspektyva stock exchange. Since the beginning of the year, the number of deals has made 25,500 deals worth UAH 24.12 billion (+44% until January-February 2023).
This is evidenced by the data of the stock exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In total, 30,880 deals worth UAH 41.2 billion were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in February 2024 (-7% to January 2024), since the beginning of the year – 62,640 deals worth UAH 85.7 billion (+ 55% until January-February 2023).
Since the beginning of the year, the structure of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange has traditionally been dominated by debt instruments: government bonds – 96.54%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states – 3.46%.
On the exchange stock market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 92.57%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and states - 7.28%, shares, and CII securities - 0.15%.
The share of the Perspektyva stock exchange in January-February is 28% in the total exchange turnover, including for government bonds 29%, for bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states - 13%, and in the total number of transactions - 41%.
The volume of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange in February compared to January decreased by 47%, and the number of transactions increased by 23%.
16.91% of trades were conducted on the repo market, 0.66% on the bid market, and 82.43% on the address market.
The volume of trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange compared to the same period in 2023 increased by 44%, the number of transactions - by 4.1 times.
In February, contracts at the Perspektyva stock exchange were concluded with 42 financial instruments (+2 before January) since the beginning of 2024 - with 51 (+15 before January-February 2023).
As of February 29, 2024, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektyva stock exchange was 260, of which 160 were listed.
Structure of issues (series) by types of financial instruments: 174 - government bonds and government derivatives (160 domestic and 14 foreign loans), 49 - other bonds (17 - corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, eight - corporate bonds of foreign issuers, 24 - bonds of foreign countries ), 30 – shares (17 – Ukrainian issuers, 11 – foreign issuers, two – KIF shares), 7 – investment certificates.
The number of members of the Perspektyva stock exchange as of February 29, 2024, is 56, and admitted to trading is 49.
The number of Perspektyva stock exchange members concluding contracts in February was 29 (+2 before January), since the beginning of the year – 36 (similarly to January-February 2023).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, during January 2024, 11,450 deals worth UAH 15.76 billion (+44% by December 2023, +56% by January 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva stock exchange.
