Zelenskyy relieves ambassador to Moldova Shevchenko

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has relieved Ambassador to Moldova Mark Shevchenko.

This is stated in decree No. 192 of March 29, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"To relieve Shevchenko Mark Oleksandrovych from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova," the decree says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy in December 2019 appointed Mark Shevchenko as ambassador to Moldova. Prior to this appointment, since 2016, he was deputy director of the department for countering threats from russia - the head of the political department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On March 29, Zelenskyy announced that the ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksii Danilov, was going to diplomatic work.
