Oleksii Danilov has reacted to his dismissal as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
He posted the corresponding statement on Facebook.
"4 years 5 months 24 days of work as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Work that took to the last. Days for which I am not ashamed. Hours that flew lightning fast," he wrote.
He thanked President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "for the trust and opportunity to be involved in the writing of the Great History at the moment of the greatest test and greatest elevation!"
Danilov also wrote that "we worked and will continue to work" for Ukraine.
"The main thing is that we must always remember and that I have always confessed - not to be afraid, never and no one, to go forward and believe in Ukraine, to believe in the people of Ukraine!" added the former Secretary of the NSDC.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 26, Zelenskyy dismissed Oleksii Danilov from the post of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, was appointed in his place.
