Cyber specialists of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a successful operation against the russian occupiers - the enemy complains of a massive failure of the drone control program.
This was reported by the press service of the Defense Intelligence.
"The russians are installing this software to reflash DJI brand drones for the needs of combat operations," the report says.
Among other things, the software allows enemy drone operators to:
● configure control panels and create new ones;
● capture video and transfer the picture to the command post;
● control the drone from the computer (not through the remote control).
Through web servers, the specified russian project of reflashing drones ensures the functioning of the "friend or foe" system.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the cyberattack of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the servers stopped working, so all the software is recognized as "foe" and denies access to the occupiers.
"Without access to the servers, and therefore to the system, control of drones from the remotes is probably impossible. Now the enemy is trying to solve the problem in every way, in particular by switching to manual control mode," the Defense Intelligence added.
It will be recalled that earlier the Defense Intelligence confirmed the destruction of the database of the russian research center that processes data from satellites.
