Stefanchuk suggests Rada remove inconsistencies from law on e-register of those liable for military service

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, proposes to the parliament to remove inconsistencies from the law on the electronic register of those liable for military service.

This is stated in the proposals to eliminate inconsistencies in the adopted law, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is indicated that in connection with the inconsistencies between its separate provisions found in the text of the law on the register of the those liable for military service prepared for the signature of the head of the Verkhovna Rada, as well as on the basis of the submission of the Committee of the Council on National Security, Defense and Intelligence (decision dated January 29, 2024 ) a proposal is made to eliminate inconsistencies in the adopted law in accordance with the procedure established by Article 131 of the Regulation.

Earlier, MP from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced in his Telegram channel that the bill on the unified register of conscripts in the form voted for will not be signed by the head of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to him, the proposals submitted by Stefanchuk will be voted on separately in the parliament.

As of now, the law has not been signed by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 16, the Verkhovna Rada created an electronic register of conscripts.
