The Verkhovna Rada created an electronic register of conscripts.
A total of 249 MPs voted for the adoption of bill 10062, instead of the minimum required 226, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The bill creates an electronic register in which personal and service data of conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists and data on the need for staffing of the Armed Forces and other military formations will be entered, except for information that constitutes a state secret.
In particular, personal data will include: numbers of means of communication and e-mail addresses, information on the state of health collected for the purpose of determining suitability for military duty, details of a citizen's passport and documents giving the citizen the right to leave from Ukraine and entering Ukraine, information about employment (EDRPOU code and location of the enterprise, place of work, position, length of service), about passing a medical examination (military medical examination).
It is proposed to include information on the fulfillment of military duty and completion of military service, as well as military registration marks, to the service data of conscripts, those liable for military swrvice and reservists.
An electronic account of a conscript, those liable for military service, reservist (account of the corresponding subject of personal and service data) will also be created.
The bill provides for the transfer to the Ministry of Defense of data on citizens aged from 17 to 60, which are contained in various state registers - the Tax Service, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Election Commission, the State Migration Service and other agencies.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Defense has brought closer the interaction of the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Those Liable for Military Service and Reservists with other state registers to improve the quality of personal data.
