The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of warfare, uses terror tactics, carries out missile and air strikes, carries out attacks from multiple rocket launchers not only on the military, but also on numerous civilian objects of our state.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As noted, during the past day there were 45 combat clashes. In total, the enemy launched 9 missile and 84 air strikes, carried out 50 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are killed and wounded among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Oleksandrivka, Vovchansk, Prykolotne, Chuhunivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Tabaivka, Kharkiv Region; Serebrianske Forestry, Luhansk Region; Terny, Yampolivka, Spirne, Niu York, Oleksandropil, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Staromaiorske, Donetsk Region; Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Piatykhatky, Zaporizhzhia Region; Zmiivka, Kherson Region, suffered aviation strikes.
More than 100 settlements of the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv Regions were under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening axes, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod Region.
According to the General Staff, in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kharkiv Region.
On the Lyman axis, the invaders did not introduce offensive (assault) actions.
On the Bakhmut axis, our soldiers repelled 2 enemy attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Klishchiivka, Donetsk Region.
"In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Avdiivka axis, Ukrainian defenders continue to deter the enemy, which does not abandon attempts to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, the Defense Forces last day repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and 16 more attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske, Donetsk Region," the report said.
On the Mariinka axis, our defenders continue to deter the enemy near Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Region, where 9 attacks were repelled.
On the Shakhtarsk axis, the invaders did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
On the Zaporizhzhia axis, the Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks west of Verbove, Robotyne and south of Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia Region.
The General Staff also informs that in the area of responsibility of the Odes Operational and Strategic Troops Group on the Kherson axis, Ukrainian soldiers continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite the significant losses, the enemy does not give up trying to knock our units out of their positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out 18 unsuccessful assault actions on the positions of the Defense Forces.
At the same time, our defenders continue to actively inflict casualties on the occupation troops in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the past day, the air force of the Defense Forces attacked 19 areas of personnel concentration and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system.
Missile forces units hit 4 areas of personnel concentration, 2 control points, an ammunition storage, 3 units of artillery equipment, an air defense radar station and 4 enemy air defense systems.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last day the Armed Forces eliminated 860 occupiers and 150 pieces of equipment of the russian federation.
