DTEK Energy adds one more TPP unit to power system after repair

DTEK Energy company added a 150 MW power unit of the thermal power plant (TPP) to the power system after planned repairs.

This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"DTEK Energy's engineers have completed another overhaul and introduced a power unit of one of the company's thermal power plants into the power system. This is one of the units that was seriously damaged during the last heating season as a result of massive enemy attacks. The capacity added to the network is already in operation and is carrying the load that in the near future it is planned to increase it to 150 MW," the message says.

According to the report, as part of the annual planned repair campaign, DTEK Energy has carried out 24 repairs of power units at the company's TPPs.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November, DTEK Energy increased the volume of contracted thermal coal from Poland by 70,000 tons to 280,000 tons.
