Over the past day, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,250 invaders, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 346,070 of the military. In addition, the defenders destroyed 19 tanks, 37 artillery systems and 40 UAVs.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
So, the total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 12/17/23 approximately amounted to:
- personnel ‒ about 346,070 (+ 1,250) people,
- tanks ‒ 5,739 (+ 19) units,
- armored fighting vehicles ‒ 10,692 (+ 25) units,
- artillery systems - 8,137 (+ 37) units,
- MLRS - 923 (+ 3) units,
- air defense equipment ‒ 609 (+ 4) units,
- aircraft - 324 (+ 0) units,
- helicopters - 324 (+ 0) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 6,278 (+ 40),
- cruise missiles ‒ 1,610 (+ 1),
- ships/boats ‒ 22 (+ 0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+ 0) units,
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 10,766 (+ 56) units,
- special equipment ‒ 1,194 (+ 4).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the past day there were 89 combat clashes. The russians attacked on six axes: Avdiivka, Mariinka, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, Lyman, Zaporizhzhia. The Air Force of the Defense Forces struck 21 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.
