Enemy storming Avdiyivka and Bakhmut axes. Situation at front

During the past 24 hours, 88 combat clashes were recorded in 7 axes, most of them in the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka axes. The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, maintain defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, in the Avdiyivka axis and continue offensive operations in the Melitopol axis.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

So, during the past day, 88 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy carried out 3 missile and 20 air strikes, carried out 53 attacks from MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, at night, the russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine, using the Kh-59 guided missile and 12 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed-136/131 type. The forces and means of air defense of Ukraine destroyed 10 attack UAVs.

Kozacha Lopan, Petropavlivka of the Kharkiv Region; Shcherbynivka, Avdiyivka, Pobieda of the Donetsk Region suffered airstrikes.

More than 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv Regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG) in the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSTG in the Kupyansk axis, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka of the Kharkiv Region and Stelmakhivka of the Luhansk Region, where defense forces repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Serebriansk forestry area of the Luhansk Region, where defense forces repelled 4 attacks.

In the Bakhmut axis, the enemy carried out assaults in the Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriyivka and Klishchiyivka areas of the Donetsk Region, where 21 attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders. The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue their assault south of Bakhmut of the Donetsk Region, inflict losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment, and entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria OSTG in the Avdiyivka axis, the enemy, with the support of aviation, does not stop trying to surround Avdiyivka, but the Ukrainian soldiers firmly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions were unsuccessful in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Sieverne, south of Tonenke, Pervomayske of the Donetsk Region, where the defense forces repelled 25 attacks.

In the Maryinka axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka areas of the Donetsk Region, where the defense forces repelled 11 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas southeast of Vuhledar, west of Staromayorske, Donetsk Region, where our soldiers repelled 3 attacks.

In the Zaporizhzhia axis, the enemy unsuccessfully tried 12 times to restore the lost position in the areas south of Robotyne, west and northwest of Verbove of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol axis, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

In the zone of responsibility of the Odesa OSTG in the Kherson axis, the defense forces will continue to hold occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continue counter-battery fighting, and inflict fire damage on the enemy's rear.

In addition, during the past 24 hours, units of the missile forces damaged 2 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 1 command post, 3 ammunition depots and 4 artillery units of the enemy.

Also, one Kh-59 guided air missile was destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of Ukraine last day.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian defenders are trying to go on the offensive in the Bakhmut axis if the opportunity arises.

Meanwhile, the European Union cannot quickly establish the production of the necessary amount of weapons for Ukraine, but it is ready to intensify the training of soldiers. For this, Brussels additionally allocates EUR 194 million.
