Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, made a corresponding statement on the air of a telethon on Tuesday, October 24.
Yusov was asked whether the occupiers had time to update their missile stocks.
"Looking at what to compare it with. If it's about the stocks they had before the full-scale invasion, they don't have time. And they don't even come close," Yusov said.
According to him, russia is currently producing a certain amount. It is possible to produce more Kalibr cruise missiles and fewer hypersonic Kinzhal missiles.
Yusov drew attention to the fact that the long-term absence of massive missile strikes may indicate that the russian federation is preparing for new attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
It should also be remembered that Ukraine will soon enter a new heating season. As earlier reported, in 2022, massive shelling began after its start.
The representative of Defense Intelligence recalled that during the last heating season, the occupiers could launch more than 100 missiles at a time.
"This has not been observed for a long time now. At the same time, the fact that we are talking about the fact that risks remain means that the country is preparing," said Yusov.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 12, the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that this winter, russia will again try to plunge Ukraine into a complete blackout.
In September, the Defense Intelligence reported that the occupiers were conducting reconnaissance of Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities.
