There is no safe base and no reliable logistical route for russian terrorists in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Also, the military fleet of the aggressor state of russia can no longer operate in the western part of the Black Sea and is gradually fleeing from the peninsula. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during his speech at the second parliamentary summit of the Crimea Platform on Tuesday, October 24.
Currently, Ukraine is moving more actively since the beginning of russia's hybrid and then full-scale aggression towards the realization of the goal of complete de-occupation of the state's territory, including Crimea, Zelenskyy said. According to him, it is in the Black Sea region that the results of this activity are best seen in the situation around the peninsula.
"First: the russian military fleet is no longer able to operate in the western part of the Black Sea and is gradually fleeing from Crimea. Second: for russian terrorists there is now no safe base and no completely reliable logistical route in Crimea and on the occupied parts of the Black Sea and Azov coasts," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In addition, Ukraine was able to return the role of a security artery to the Black Sea for the sake of global food stability, the head of state said. The President also noted that despite the russian occupation of the peninsula, pro-Ukrainian attitudes are becoming more and more open.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 4, special forces of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense landed on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea and inflicted fire damage on the russian invaders.
On September 22, a missile attack was carried out on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the aggressor state of russia in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
On September 22, the Ministry of Defense of russia admitted that as a result of an attack by the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the building of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation in occupied Sevastopol was damaged.
