Kyiv Administration tells how many missiles and drones were launched by russia in direction of Kyiv per year

Over the past twelve months, russian invaders have fired more than 300 missiles towards Kyiv.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhii Popko announced this on Telegram.

The official stressed the importance of building up air defense systems, which is a priority not only for the capital of Ukraine, but also for other cities.

So, Popko cited statistics on the shelling of Kyiv over the past 12 months.

Russian troops launched:

• more than 300 cruise missiles of various types;
• 14 ballistic missiles;
• almost 400 strike UAVs of the Shahed type.

"Therefore, building up air defense systems is a priority for both Kyiv and the rest of the cities of Ukraine. We will not give up any weapons. For Ukrainian air defense warriors have long proved to the whole world that they are able to create what seemed impossible - effective air defense systems, where the latest and old models, Soviet and NATO, are combined. Give us weapons, and we will find effective use for them," says the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

He also added that Ukraine expects support from allies and partners, since "every anti-aircraft missile system, every Gepard or every Piorun is a saved life and contribution to our victory!"

Recall that earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are strengthening air defense in the north of Ukraine in order to protect the energy infrastructure.
