2 ships leave ports of Great Odesa and 4 arrive

On October 21, the ships Jolanda and Briza left the ports of Great Odesa to pass through the temporary Black Sea corridor, while the ships Eleen Neptune, Rio, Doro and True Harmony arrived at the ports for loading.

Andrii Klymenko, head of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He noted that all vessels successfully passed the most dangerous section along the coast of Ukraine in the Odesa Region and entered the territorial sea of Romania or entered the ports of Great Odesa.

"Thus, since September 16, 2023, at least 42 ships with a total deadweight of 1.7 million tons have arrived at the ports of Great Odesa through the Ukrainian grain corridor. During the same period, at least 23 ships left the ports of Great Odesa with a total deadweight (volume of cargo) of 0.85 million tons," Klymenko wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 21, the bulk carrier Resilient Africa arrived at the Turkish Bosphorus Strait.

This is the first ship with grain from Ukraine that passed through the Black Sea through the temporary corridor.

On July 17, russia announced the withdrawal of shipping safety guarantees in the Black Sea to ensure the "grain corridor".
