Air defense forces shot down six enemy drones on October 22 - three Shaheds and three Lancets. A russian Kh-59 missile was also shot down.

On the night of October 22, 2023, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with attack UAVs guided aerial and anti-aircraft missiles.

Eight launches of S-300 missiles were recorded from the Belgorod Oblast and the temporary occupied territories of the Donetsk Region. The enemy also used a Kh-59 guided aerial missile from a Su-34 aircraft from the airspace of the temporary occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

In addition, the occupiers launched two UAVs of an unknown type from the northern direction and three strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the area of Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the anti-aircraft defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 4 air targets: one guided aerial missile Kh-59 and three strike UAVs Shahed-136/131," the message says.

Also, as the military notes, three Lancet-type attack UAVs were destroyed in the south of the country over the past day.

It will be recalled that the Armed Forces eliminated 980 more russian invaders last day, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 293,830 soldiers.
