The losses of russia in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Wednesday, October 18, amounted to 620 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 290,050 in the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed an aircraft and six helicopters.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 10/18/23 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 290,050 (+ 620) persons eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 4,981 (+ 2) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 9,420 (+ 15) units,
- artillery systems - 6,944 (+ 8) units,
- MLRS - 814 units,
- air defense equipment - 547 units,
- aircraft - 319 (+ 1) units,
- helicopters - 323 (+ 6) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 5,301 (+ 10),
- cruise missiles - 1,534 (+ 1) units,
- ships/boats - 20 units,
- submarines - 1 unit,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 9,303 (+ 10) units,
- special equipment - 982.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, another 800 enemy soldiers were eliminated last day. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 14 tanks, 26 artillery systems and 11 enemy drones.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military on the front line in the Donetsk Region shot down another Grach Su-25 attack aircraft of the russian occupation army. This is the third such plane in a week.
