In September, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange increased by 30.9% to UAH 2.359 billion over August.
The exchange has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that the total volume of trading on the Ukrainian Exchange in September was UAH 2,359,064,078.33, and the total number of transactions was 13,449.
In the trading structure for September 2023, government bonds (OVDPs) accounted for 72.32% of the total turnover, or UAH 1,706,079,535.12; shares - 0.06%, or UAH 1,445,031.44; investment certificates - 0.14%, or UAH 3,207,118.21; foreign securities - 27.32%, or UAH 644,544,430.82; and corporate bonds - 0.16% or UAH 3,787,962.74.
It is noted that in September, the index of Ukrainian shares (UX index) increased by 36.1% from 1,576.16 to 2,145.38 points.
The leaders in the share securities market in September were:
- VSPIF UNIVER.UA/Taras Shevchenko: Fond Zaoshchadzhen, investment certificates (UAH 1.580 million);
- VSPIF UNIVER.UA/Mykhailo Hrushevskyi: Fond Derzhavnykh Paperiv, investment certificates (UAH 1.477 million);
- Kyivmedpreparat JSC (UAH 1.200 million).
The leaders of circulation on the debt securities market in September were:
- 227409 government bonds, USD-nominated, repayment 03/21/2024 (UAH 422.3 million);
- US5K26, U.S. Department of the Treasury, repayment 10/31/2023 (UAH 398.1 million);
-US5D82, U.S. Department of the Treasury, repayment 09/30/2023 (UAH 209.6 million).
The leading operators of the stock and fund certificate market in September were Univer Capital, Navigator-Invest and Dragon Capital.
The leading operators of the bond market in September were BTC Broker, Universal Bank and Sky Bank.
In turn, the leading operators of the foreign securities market in September were Daliz-Finance, Univer Capital and Dragon Capital.
Ukrainian Exchange is a liquidity center for stocks and derivatives in Ukraine.
The index of Ukrainian shares is calculated from the start of trading on the Ukrainian Exchange on March 26, 2009.
The initial value was taken equal to 500 points.
Today, the Index Basket includes 6 of the most liquid shares.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in August, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange decreased by 20.8% to UAH 1.803 billion over July.
