38 combat clashes between Defense Forces and occupiers take place during day. General Staff summary

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol axis and offensive actions in the Bakhmut axis, destroy the enemy, step by step liberate the temporarily occupied territories, and entrench on the reached borders. In total, 38 combat clashes took place during the past day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched 8 missile and 99 air strikes, launched 45 rocket salvo fire attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian objects. Also, the russian federation struck another blow against Ukraine by using about 40 Iranian strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the south. The forces and means of air defense destroyed 30 enemy Shaheds within the Odesa, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia Regions. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, there are killed and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The following areas were hit by airstrikes: Halahanivka, Chernihiv Region; Novoselivske, Nevske, Novoliubivka, Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region; Terny, Zarichne, Siversk, Spirne, Vesele, Kostiantynivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, New York, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhaylivka, Prechystivka, Urozhaine, Staromayorske, Donetsk Region; Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Novoandriyivka, Zaporizhzhia Region; Mykolayivka, Kherson Region.

More than 120 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group in the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group in the Kupyansk and Lyman axes.

In the Bakhmut axis, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the area of Klishchiyivka, Luhansk Region.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Troops Group in the Avdiyivka and Maryinka axes, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Avdiyivka area of the Donetsk Region and to improve the tactical position in the Novoselivka area and east of Stepove. The enemy carried out more than 10 unsuccessful attacks in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk Region.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsk axis.

In the Zaporizhzhia axis, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Novodarivka area of the Zaporizhzhia Region and to improve the tactical position in the area west of Verbove.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol axis, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut axis, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

In the zone of responsibility of the Odesa Operational and Strategic Troops Group in the Kherson axis, the Defense Forces are conducting a counter-battery fight, destroying warehouses and inflicting successful damage on the enemy's rear.

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 17 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 8 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the missile forces hit 6 anti-aircraft missile systems, 10 artillery pieces and 3 ammunition depots.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 29, troops of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 470 russian invaders and 38 enemy artillery systems at the front. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine, 278,130 russian occupiers have been eliminated.
