Defense Ministry allows SAKER SCOUT drone with artificial intelligence to be used in AFU

The Ministry of Defense has approved the SAKER SCOUT drone with artificial intelligence for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The SAKER software, built on artificial intelligence algorithms, will help our troops beat the enemy more effectively," the message reads.

It is noted that the system, with the help of advanced optics, independently recognizes and records the coordinates of enemy equipment (even camouflaged), immediately transmitting the information to the command post for making the appropriate decision. This eliminates the risks of "human error", since the operator's eye is not always able to catch all the nuances.

The complex includes a flagship reconnaissance drone, as well as several kamikaze drones of the FPV type, which are adjusted, including with the help of the flagship drone.

The flight range is up to 10 km.

The drone can be equipped with infrared optics for operation at night.

It can use an inertial guidance system, which significantly increases its resistance to EW.

The system integrates with all situational awareness systems available in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Delta system.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the Ministry of Defense reported that the Defense Forces are successfully using the Ukrainian-made Velykyi Banderyk drone at the front. It has 8 powerful motors that ensure reliable operation and can withstand a load weighing up to 31.5 kg. The multi-functional discharge system ensures accurate delivery of various types of ammunition.
