Russia keeps 4 ships in Black Sea. There are no missile carriers

As of the morning of July 17, there are 4 ships of the Russian occupiers on combat duty in the Black Sea. There are no missile carriers. This is stated in the message of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, there is 1 enemy ship in the Sea of Azov. And in the Mediterranean Sea, there are 8 enemy ships on combat duty, including 2 carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out by:

  • to the Sea of Azov - 17 vessels, of which 2 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait;
  • to the Black Sea - 19 vessels, of which 5 continued their movement from the Bosphorus Strait.

The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov, the message added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian military disabled five amphibious ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Earlier, the head of the Joint Press Center of the South Security and Defense Forces Nataliya Humeniuk said that the Russian fleet is panicking in the Black Sea after the drone attacks.

In addition, drone attacks on Russian vessels in the Black Sea were commented on in the Pentagon.
