Ukraine increases tariff for transit of Russian oil by 23.5% to EUR 21 per ton

Since August, Ukraine has increased the tariff for the transportation of Russian oil through its territory by the Druzhba trunk oil pipeline by 23.5%, or by EUR 4 per ton, to EUR 21 per ton.

This was reported by the Russian publication TASS, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

This is the third increase in oil transit rates through Ukraine in the direction of Slovakia and Hungary in 2023.

From January 1, 2023, Ukraine increased the tariff on transportation of Russian oil by 18.3% to EUR 13.6 per ton, and from June - by 25% to EUR 17 per ton.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine planned to increase the tariff for the transit of Russian oil by 54.4% to EUR 21 per ton.

In particular, from June 1, it was planned to increase the tariff by 25% to EUR 17 per ton, and from August 1 - by another 23.5% to EUR 21 per ton.
