Total state debt up 2.5% to USD 128.8 billion in June

The aggregate state (direct and guaranteed) debt of Ukraine in June increased by 2.5% or USD 3.2 billion to USD 128.81 billion compared to the previous month.

This is stated in the data of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

State and state-guaranteed debt at the end of June amounted to UAH 4,710.42 billion, or USD 128.81 billion, against UAH 4,593.47 billion, or USD 125.61 billion, a month earlier.

The total amount of direct state debt as of the reporting date was UAH 4,376.48 billion (USD 119.68 billion) against UAH 4,257.08 billion (USD 116.41 billion) a month earlier.

At the same time, direct external debt for the month increased from USD 76.69 billion to USD 79.89 billion.

Direct domestic debt increased in hryvnia equivalent from UAH 1,452.75 billion to UAH 1,454.95 billion (in dollar equivalent increased from USD 39.73 billion to USD 39.79 billion).

The state-guaranteed debt at the end of the reporting month amounted to UAH 333.94 billion, or USD 9.13 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2022, the total state debt increased by USD 13.39 billion or 13.66% to USD 111.34 billion.
In 2021, the state debt increased by 8.52% or USD 7.69 billion to USD 97.95 billion.
