The defense forces are gradually advancing in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions, while in the east the Russians are advancing in several directions.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar reported this on Telegram.
"With heavy battles, but gradually in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions, we are advancing. Our troops face intense enemy opposition, remote mining, transfer of reserves, but persistently and tirelessly create conditions for the speedy movement forward," said the statement.
At the same time, Maliar said that the enemy is advancing in several directions - Avdiivka, Mariinka, Lyman.
"Everywhere is hot now," she said.
The Russians also moved forward in the Svatove direction.
"There are fierce battles. The enemy attacks Bilohorivka, Serebrianka. The situation is quite complicated," said Maliar.
On the Bakhmut direction on the southern flank, the Defense Forces move forward, have partial success, on the northern - fighting continues. The enemy transferred 2 air assault regiments there.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Russian army conducted an unsuccessful offensive near Bakhmut.
