The losses of Russia in the war in Ukraine on Tuesday morning, June 20, amounted to the 1,010 of the invaders per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 221,460 the military. Besides, the Armed Forces also destroyed an enemy helicopter.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to June 19, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 221,460 (+ 1,010) people eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 3,997 (+ 8) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,750 (+ 15) units,
- artillery systems - 3,888 (+ 23) units,
- MLRS - 614 (+ 4) units,
- air defense equipment - 372 (+ 2) units,
- aircraft - 314 units,
- helicopters - 306 (+ 1) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 3393 (+ 10),
- cruise missiles - 1,214 (+ 3) units,
- ships/boats - 18 units,
- vehicles and tank trucks - 6,645 (+ 32) units,
- special equipment - 531 (+ 5).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Russian occupation troops are now suffering the largest losses since the peak of the battle for Bakhmut in March.
In the Tauride direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than four companies of Russians and 77 pieces of equipment. During the day in the Tauride direction, units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces completed 1,829 firing missions. 12 Russian ammunition storage facilities were also destroyed.
