The actual volume of grain exports by Ukraine since the beginning of the 2022/2023 marketing year (July 2022 - June 2023) as of June 12 had made 46.748 million tons, down 2.2% or 1.046 million year over year.
This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
A total of 16,050,000 tons of wheat, 2,666,000 tons of barley, 18,000,000 tons of rye, and 27,709,000 tons of corn have already been exported.
At the same time, during the specified period, the export of wheat flour and flour from other crops increased 2.1 times or by 75,900 tons year over year, to 145,500 tons.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 17, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov announced that the "grain agreement" has been unblocked, and it will continue to operate until July 18.
On August 5, the first caravan with Ukrainian grain left the seaports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
According to the results of the 2021/2022 marketing year (July 2021 - June 2022), Ukraine's actual grain export volumes amounted to 48.508 million tons, which is 8.5% or 3.79 million tons more than the previous marketing year.
