Cabinet Plans To Create Gas Reserves In USF Of 14.7 Billion Cubic Meters By Beginning Of Autumn-Winter Season

By the beginning of the autumn-winter season, the government plans to create gas reserves in underground storage facilities (USF) at the level of 14.7 billion cubic meters.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He noted that now gas reserves in Ukrainian storages are at the level of 9.3 billion cubic meters.

"We are increasing production. We are working with partners to obtain an additional resource," Shmyhal added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 17, Ukraine began a new season of pumping gas into underground storage facilities.

On November 7, 2022, the gas extraction season from underground storage facilities began in Ukraine.

As of the beginning of November, 14.5 billion cubic meters of gas were accumulated in underground storage facilities.
