DTEK Energy Invests UAH 890 Million In TPPs Repairs Since Year Start

The DTEK Energy company has invested more than UAH 890 million in repairs of thermal power plants (TPP) since the beginning of the year.

This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"DTEK Energy is actively repairing thermal power plants on the eve of the 2023/2024 heating season. In addition to the ongoing restoration work at the company's generating plants as a result of Russian attacks, as part of this year's repair campaign, power engineers are intensively preparing power units. Currently, seven repairs of power units are being implemented at various stages of readiness. Earlier, in March-April, two repairs were already implemented. The company's investment in the repair campaign at the TPPs in the first four months of the year, according to preliminary data, amounted to more than UAH 890 million," the message says.

At the same time, according to the report, almost UAH 7 billion are needed to restore the equipment of thermal power plants damaged and destroyed by the enemy.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late 2022, 26 power unit repairs were carried out at the DTEK Energy’s TPPs.

Investments in last year's repair campaign amount to almost UAH 2.2 billion.

The DTEK Energy company is a structure of the DTEK holding, which combines coal business, electricity generation, as well as mining engineering enterprises.
