AFU Destroy 650 Occupiers Per Day. General Staff Announces Russian Losses In War With Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day eliminated another 650 occupiers. In total, the enemy's losses already amount to more than 195,000 soldiers killed.

It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 9, 2023 were approximately:

  • personnel ‒ about 195,620 (+ 650) people eliminated,
  • tanks ‒ 3,734 (+ 4) units,
  • armored fighting vehicles - 7,258 (+ 4) units,
  • artillery systems - 3,031 (+ 13) units,
  • MLRS - 554 (+ 0) units,
  • air defense equipment - 307 (+ 1) units,
  • aircraft - 308 (+ 0) units,
  • helicopters - 294 (+ 0) units,
  • operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,618 (+ 4),
  • cruise missiles - 955 (+ 8),
  • ships/boats ‒ 18 (+ 0) units,
  • vehicles and tank trucks - 5,969 (+ 11) units,
  • special equipment - 388 (+ 4).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Monday, May 8, the Ukrainian military eliminated 540 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 194,970 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed seven tanks and 42 UAVs.

In the Bakhmut direction over the past nine months, the enemy has lost about 100,000 in manpower, of which 20,000 are fatal losses. If such a trend continues, "there will be no one to be sent to attack."
