First Deputy Prosecutor General Kasko Resigns

First Deputy Prosecutor General, Vitalii Kasko, has submitted his resignation statement.

Ukrainian News agency learned this from a well-informed source in the Office of Prosecutor General (OPG).

He said that Kasko resigned after the Verkhovna Rada had impeached credibility of Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada impeached Riaboshapka’s credibility on Thursday, March 5.
