In 2019, oil transit via Ukraine decreased by 1.6% or 208,000 tons year over year to 13,127,000 tons.
The Ukrtransnafta open joint-stock company, the operator of the Ukrainian oil transport system, has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
At the same time, in 2019, Ukrainian oil refineries received 2,382 tons of oil, up 13.4% or 281,000 tons year over year.
In 2019, Ukrtransnafta transported 15,509,000 tons of oil, up 0.5% or 73,000 tons year over year.
In December 2019, oil transit via Ukraine decreased by 5.7% year over year to 1.159 million tons.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the first eleven months of 2019, the oil transit via Ukraine decreased by 1.1% year over year to 11,967 million tons.
In the first eleven months of 2019, Ukrainian oil refineries obtained a total of 2,175,000 tons of crude, up 12.9% year over year.
In the first eleven months of 2019, Ukrtransnafta transported 14.142 million tons of crude oil, up 0.8% year over year.
The overall amount of crude transportation via the main oil pipelines in November 2019 was 1.536 million tons, up 29.9% year over year.
The amount of crude transported for Ukrainian consumers in November 2019 rose by 10.5% to 206,800 tons year over year.
In November, the transit via Ukraine rose by 33.6% year over year to 1.329 million tons.
In 2018, oil transit via Ukraine decreased by 4.3% or 603,000 tons year over year to 13,335,000 tons.
