The former head of the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Vovk, claims to be the first deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
This is evidenced by the data in the Unified Register of declarations of persons authorized to fulfill the functions of the state, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He filed a declaration as a candidate for this post.
Vovk moves on a 2011 Range Rover, which was provided to him by the ex-player and former captain of the Dynamo (Kyiv) football club, the ex-coach of Dynamo and the ex-football player of London's Arsenal club Oleh Luzhnyi for free use.
Vovk also has a 2014 Lexus.
Vovk keeps UAH 505,000 in cash.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Roman Truba from the post of director of the State Bureau of Investigation and appointed MP from the Servant of the People Iryna Venediktova as acting deputy director.
