Court Arrests Nemo Dolphinarium In Kyiv

A court has arrested the Nemo dolphinarium in Kyiv.

This is said in a court ruling of July 3, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The document reads that the investigation department of the Prosecutor General's Office has been investigating into a criminal case on signs of crimes described by Article 190, Article 358, and Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation has established that on May 22, 2017, the Ardal Company sold the land plot with the Nemo dolphinarium on it.

According to a letter of the State Architect and Construction Inspectorate of June 9, 2017, the department does not have information on issuance of a license for any construction on the land plot.

On August 20, 2013, the Kyiv Economic Court obliged the limited liability company Nerum to demolish a building used as a dolphinarium.

A court has satisfied a motion of prosecutors and arrested the land plot and prohibited use of the land plot or any buildings on it.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November 2016, the Kyivvodokanal municipal company disconnected the Nemo dolphinarium from the sewerage network.
