The Lukianivska subway station in Kyiv has resumed operations after repairs were completed to address damage caused by shelling of the capital by the aggressor country, russia. The subway is operating as usual. It was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Sunday, July 19.
“The Lukianivska subway station has resumed passenger service. The subway is operating as usual,” the Kyiv City Military Administration stated.
Telegram channels in the capital have published footage showing what the area near the Lukianivska subway station currently looks like.
Damage was also reported on Kopernyka Street, near the “Kyivska Rus” movie theater.
At the same time, trolleybus routes Nos. 6, 16, 18, 19, 23, 28, 31, 33, and 35 have resumed service and are currently operating on a modified schedule.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 19, russian troops launched a massive shelling attack on Kyiv, resulting in strikes and fires in five districts of the city.
Due to the shelling of Kyiv, the Lukianivska subway station, which sustained damage, was temporarily closed.
