In Kyiv, the Lukianivska subway station is temporarily closed due to damage caused by russian shelling on the night of July 19.
It was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
"The Lukianivska subway station is temporarily closed due to damage caused by a blast wave to the above-ground entrance hall," the statement said.
Currently, trains on the “green” line are passing through the Lukianivska subway station without stopping.
It is noted that subway employees are working to repair the damage to ensure the escalators and passenger automation systems are operational. A separate announcement will be made regarding the resumption of subway service.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 19, russian troops shelled Kyiv, resulting in strikes and fires in five districts of the city. Specifically, residential buildings, an office building, a dormitory, non-residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged. The enemy killed one person, and 13 others were injured.
