Establishing a ceasefire with the aggressor country of russia is possible, but its observance remains difficult.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with BFMtv, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Zelenskyy noted that the ceasefires between the russian federation and Ukraine have been in effect repeatedly, but each time the aggressor violated them. According to him, observing the ceasefire remains a difficult issue.

"We need to put an end to this war. And there is one part, russia, that does not want it. They simply show it with words. But a ceasefire is not just words, it is a very concrete step," the President said.

Russian dictator vladimir putin "lies" when it comes to a ceasefire, "because he needs a victory," Zelenskyy emphasized. In addition, the President of Ukraine fears a possible escalation of the conflict from russia. In his opinion, if putin does not win, he will become very dangerous not only for Ukraine, but will try to find another place for aggression.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to partners with a request to provide 300 missiles for Patriot systems.

On July 10, Zelenskyy reached political agreements with US President Donald Trump on licenses for the production of Patriot in Ukraine.
