The Armed Forces of Ukraine have hit the Ufa oil refinery, one of the largest russian lubricant producers, for the second time.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"For the second time, our sanctions responses to russia's protracted war have reached the Ufa oil refinery - one of the largest russian lubricant producers. The distance is over 1,300 kilometers from the front line," the head of state wrote.

The President also said that in the Penza Oblast, the Defense Forces struck a strategic facility of the russian military-industrial complex, which is engaged in the development and production of components for missile weapons, which the occupiers use to strike Ukrainian cities and communities.

This time, the distance to the target was about 600 km from the front line.

According to Zelenskyy, the plan for the application of Ukrainian long-range sanctions is being implemented daily.

"This is quite fair in response to everything that russia is doing against us. Peace is needed, and this is what the russian leadership must realize. Russia must end its war. And the russian leadership has all the opportunities for this. I thank every Ukrainian soldier who ensures our long-range accuracy," the President added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of April 2, drones attacked an oil refinery in Ufa (russia), resulting in a fire on the territory of the enterprise.
