Energy facilities on fire in Crimea after night explosions: what is known

On the night of July 1, a series of explosions were heard in occupied Crimea and Donetsk. After the attack, several fire centers were recorded on the peninsula.

This is reported by OSINT channels in Telegram.

According to monitoring publics, at around 11:50 pm, drones attacked the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk Region. In Donetsk itself, according to preliminary data, a hit was recorded in the area of ​​​​a logistics vehicle parking lot.

At the same time, during the night, residents of the occupied Crimea reported explosions in various areas of the peninsula.

In the morning, the NASA FIRMS satellite service recorded a fire center north of Feodosia near the E-97 highway.

In addition, according to open sources, fires also broke out on the territory of the West Crimea substation and a mobile gas turbine power plant.

There was no official confirmation of the extent of the damage or the causes of the fires at the time of publication.

As a reminder, on the night of June 28, Ukrainian defenders struck two russian oil refineries - the Slavyansky refinery in the Krasnodar Krai and the refinery in the Yaroslavl Oblast.
