Since the beginning of the year, the volume of loans to the economy has increased by 9.8% from UAH 1,197.680 billion.
The volume of hryvnia loans to legal entities for the reporting month increased by 1% to UAH 615.252 billion.
The volume of loans issued to businesses in foreign currency increased by 1.4% to UAH 307.424 billion.
The volume of loans issued to the population for the reporting period increased by 3.3% to UAH 386.528 billion.
Interest rates in May on hryvnia loans for businesses decreased by 0.7 pp to 15.1%, for households - by 0.3 pp to 36.7%.
On foreign currency loans, rates for businesses were 5.8%.
