The aggressor country of russia continues to scale up the practices of militarizing children in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine, turning teenagers into a mobilization resource for future wars. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).

Thus, in the Volgograd Oblast of the russian federation, at the base of the Avangard camp, the first interregional change of the program "Time of Young Heroes" this year, organized by the Voin Military-Patriotic Center, was completed. Approximately 900 teenagers aged 14-17 underwent this training, a significant number of whom were taken out of the occupied territories of Ukraine by the invaders.

According to the CCD, for two weeks the children were taught the basics of fire and physical training, tactical medicine, assault operations and control of combat drones. All this was accompanied by aggressive ideological indoctrination, in particular through meetings with participants in the war against Ukraine.

"The Kremlin views the residents of the TOT, including minors, exclusively as a resource for waging a protracted war. And the preparation of children to participate in hostilities is the best evidence of this. The russian authorities are building a system of raising children on the cult of war, hatred and revanchism," the Center emphasized.

Earlier, the CCD reported on the large-scale expansion of the network of military-patriotic centers "Avangard" and "Voin" both in russia itself and in the TOT of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the CCD, russia is preparing a legal justification for new military incursions.
