The State Duma of the aggressor country russia has passed in the first reading a bill that expands the list of grounds for military intervention. This document will allow dictator vladimir putin to send troops to other countries, allegedly to "protect russians" who are being prosecuted by foreign courts or tribunals. It was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
The State Duma's relevant committee has officially stated that the army is needed to "counteract russophobia" and "protect russian organizations from attacks." The Center emphasizes that under these formulations, the kremlin means the seizure of russian state assets and the imposition of sanctions.
"In fact, Putin will receive carte blanche to send troops to any country whose justice Moscow considers 'unfriendly,'" the Center reveals.
The Center emphasizes that the draft law was approved without any comments, which indicates the complete consolidation of the russian regime around the idea of armed intervention in the affairs of sovereign states under far-fetched legal pretexts.
"This initiative is another confirmation that Russian aggression will not be limited to Ukraine. Moscow is consistently building a legal justification, and in fact, it is a "legal justification" for future military invasions.
Kremlin is moving to an open strategy of global blackmail. Strengthening collective security and strengthening NATO's eastern flank is the only effective response to the threat from Russia," the Center summarizes.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation, russia wants to return the "Little Octobrists" and "Pioneers".
