Anti-drone nets will be installed in Volyn to further strengthen the protection of the border with Belarus. This was reported by the acting head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Roman Romaniuk.
Romaniuk noted that in Volyn, the strengthening of border areas began even before the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country, russia. According to him, the neighborhood with Belarus requires increased protection, since threats remain. Engineering barriers have already been installed in the region and defensive positions have been strengthened.
"One of them will be the installation of anti-drone nets on certain sections of roads, identified and on the territory of the Shatsk community. We must be as prepared as possible for any development of events," Romaniuk noted.
Today, Volyn continues to strengthen and has already become one of the best-prepared border regions of Ukraine, Romaniuk emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 29, Advisor to the Minister of Defense Serhii Beskrestnov declared Ukraine's readiness to repel aggression from Belarus. According to him, Ukraine has enough fortifications and troops on the border for protection.
