In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Region, three people were killed and six others were injured as a result of missile strikes. At the same time, Kharkiv came under a massive drone attack that caused fires and left 16 people injured.
It was reported by Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Military Administration, and Halyna Minaieva, the mayor of Chuhuiv.
Three local residents were killed in Chuhuiv following a series of missile strikes. According to updated data, the killed include a 70-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, and a 56-year-old man. City authorities also reported the death of a pregnant woman as a result of the shelling. The number of injured has risen to six.
Fires broke out in Chuhuiv, and emergency services were working at the sites of the strikes. Separately, there were reports of a 34-year-old man who suffered an acute stress reaction.
Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva initially reported three killed and three wounded, but later updated the figures on casualties and damage. According to her, the strikes damaged about eight apartment buildings and more than ten private homes.
Additionally, on the night of June 9, Kharkiv came under attack by strike drones. Hits were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi Districts, where fires broke out and destruction occurred.
According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, initial reports indicated one person was injured, but the number later rose to at least ten casualties. One of the strikes hit a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
Oleh Syniehubov clarified that among the victims in Kharkiv are children and adults who have experienced acute stress reactions. Two women with injuries of varying severity have also been hospitalized. Several other victims received on-site medical assistance. Residential buildings, building facades, and at least 18 vehicles were damaged.
As a reminder, on June 8, russian occupiers fired on Zaporizhzhia with drones, striking a public transportation stop, kiosks, a house, and railway infrastructure facilities.
