Today, June 8, Russian occupiers fired on Zaporizhzhia with drones, striking a public transportation stop, kiosks, and railway infrastructure. Two people are reported dead and 23 wounded.
The National Police of Ukraine and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, have reported this.
"The enemy directed 'Shahed'-type UAVs at a public transport stop and retail kiosks at a time when people were returning home from work," the statement said.

In addition, another drone struck a private residential building.
Police officers provided first aid to the wounded until ambulances arrived. Currently, paramedics, bomb disposal experts, State Emergency Service rescuers, and all necessary city services continue to work at the sites.

According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, two women were killed in the attack. And as a result of the attack on the bus stop, the number of casualties rose to 23 people.

Fedorov added that the russian attack also damaged railway infrastructure and a 9-story building.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, June 8, russian troops struck two gas stations in one of the districts of the Dnipropetrovsk Region. A man was wounded and hospitalized in moderate condition.
