In April 2026, the average salary of Ukrainians increased compared to March by 0.5% to UAH 30,515 per month.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The highest level of wages was registered in Kyiv - UAH 48,003 and in the Kyiv Region - UAH 30,584.
The lowest level of wages was registered in the Kirovohrad Region - UAH 21,199 and in the Chernivtsi region - UAH 21,687.
Wages by type of economic activity:
- highest - information and telecommunications: UAH 77,861;
- lowest - art, sports, entertainment and recreation: UAH 19,855.
The arrears in salary payments as of May 1, 2026 are UAH 3.7 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March 2026, the average salary of Ukrainians increased by 7.2% compared to February to UAH 30,356 per month.
