Servicemen of the 1st Azov Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard have expanded the scope of their strikes against the logistics of the aggressor nation, russia. Now, Azov drones are targeting russian trucks and other military equipment east of Mariupol and even within the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation.
This is evidenced by a report published on the official Telegram channel of the 1st Azov Corps.
"Pilots of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov' are already carrying out missions to strike targets near the Russian border," the post states.
In a video published by the Azov forces, drone strikes on russian military equipment on a road east of Mariupol can be seen. One of the strikes was carried out east of a checkpoint located on the state border.
Ukrainian forces also continue to strike russian trucks and other equipment moving along the road between Mariupol and Volnovakha.
As a reminder, since early May, pro-russian media outlets have been actively reporting that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have begun using drones to attack trucks, fuel tankers, and military equipment moving along the so-called “land corridor” to Crimea. This refers to the road in the south of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Regions.
Last Friday, May 22, collaborator Volodymyr Saldo, whom the russians appointed as head of the occupation administration of the Kherson Region, signed a “decree” restricting the movement of freight transport along the section of the “land corridor” to Crimea due to attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.
Also on May 22, it became known that in occupied Sevastopol, due to logistical problems, gasoline sales to the public have been restricted, and diesel fuel is being sold only with ration cards.
