In April, the largest regional markets for new passenger cars in Ukraine were: the city of Kyiv, and the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Lviv Regions.
This is stated in a report by the UkrAutoprom Association, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
The report states that these regional markets accounted for 64% of new passenger car sales in April.
Over the month, 2,212 new cars were purchased in the capital, 580 in the Kyiv Region, 447 in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, 351 in the Kharkiv Region, and 335 in the Lviv Region.
The best-selling model of the month in the markets of the city of Kyiv, the Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv Regions was the Renault Duster compact crossover.
The leader in the Kyiv Region was the Toyota RAV4.
In the Kharkiv Region, the Hyundai Tucson was the most frequently purchased vehicle.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 9,500 new passenger cars have been sold in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, with SUVs and crossovers accounting for nearly 87% of these sales.
