Since the beginning of the year, 9,500 new passenger cars have been sold in Ukraine, almost 87% of these sales were in the SUV and crossover segment.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The TOP-10 SUV models (sport-utility vehicles) included: Renault Duster - 743 units; Toyota Rav-4 - 706 units; Toyota LC Prado - 447 units; Hyundai Tucson - 389 units; Mazda CX5 - 305 units; VW Touareg - 201 units; Skoda Karoq - 183 units; BYD Leopard 3 - 182 units and Nissan Qashqai - 144 units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 81,300 new cars in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, the most popular in the private sector was the Volkswagen ID.Unyx.
