The ratio of casualties between Ukraine and the aggressor country, russia, on the front lines is 3.5 to 1 in Ukraine’s favor. General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has stated this in an interview with Militarnyi.

"The enemy’s losses are many times greater. Total losses on the front line are 3.5 times higher," the Commander-in-Chief stated.

He emphasized that the difference in the number of fatalities is even greater. Depending on the day, the russians may suffer 7 or 9 times more fatalities than the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As a reminder, earlier yesterday, Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) reported that in the first quarter of this year, 20,000 fewer people than planned by the kremlin signed contracts with the russian Ministry of Defense to be sent to war.

In early May, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that russia’s losses have exceeded the number of new recruits for the fifth consecutive month.

And in April, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa, said that the russian army’s daily losses in the Donetsk Region had nearly tripled compared to the end of 2025.
