Law enforcement authorities have detained the police chief of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region, his deputy, the first deputy chief of the Main Department of the National Police in the Ternopil Region, the deputy chief of the Main Department of the National Police in the Zhytomyr Region, and the driver of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs on suspicion of accepting bribes to cover up the activities of "porn offices."
The National Police reported this to the Ukrainian News agency.

According to the investigation, the driver of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs acted as an intermediary in this case.
During authorized searches, cash, communication devices, documentation, and other material evidence were seized, which may indicate the suspects’ involvement in illegal activities.
The suspects have been notified of charges under Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the SSU and the Prosecutor General's Office are conducting searches at three regional departments of the National Police in a case involving the cover-up of “porn offices.” In exchange for monthly bribes, police officials were required to refrain from taking enforcement action, fail to document offenses, fail to shut down illegal activities, and provide advance warning of potential inspections. Reports regarding the resignation of National Police Chief Vyhivskyi are untrue.
