The National Bank of Ukraine has imposed a fine of UAH 1.7 million on Ukrposhta JSC (EDRPOU 21560045).
This is outlined in the NBU's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The fine was imposed for violating the requirements of the legislation regulating activities in the payment market, due to the failure of Ukrposhta JSC, as a provider of financial payment services, to ensure the proper functioning of the corporate governance system, internal control system and risk management.
The Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banking Activities, Supervision (Oversight) of the Payment Infrastructure of the National Bank adopted such a decision on May 18, 2026.
Ukrposhta JSC is obliged to pay the fine within 5 (five) business days from the date of receipt of the Committee's decision.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March, the National Bank imposed a fine of UAH 255,000 on Ukrposhta joint stock company for untimely submission of information. `
